PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: August 22, 2026

Consolate's Angels ("Consolate's Angels," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide when using our website, mobile application, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect, how we use and disclose that information, how we protect it, and the choices available to you regarding your information.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services and whether you register as a Client or an Angel service provider, we may collect the following categories of information:

Account and Contact Information: Name, email address, telephone number, account credentials, user role, mailing or service address, profile information, and other information you provide when creating or maintaining an account.

Profile and Service Information: Information necessary to create your profile, request or provide services, establish service preferences, manage availability, and facilitate interactions between Clients and Angels.

Booking and Transaction Information: Information concerning service requests, bookings, dates and times of service, service locations or areas, service type, booking status, transaction amounts, refunds, disputes, and related transaction records.

Payment and Payout Information: Payment transactions are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Angels may also provide payout, identity, banking, and tax-related information directly to Stripe as part of Stripe's connected-account onboarding process. Consolate's Angels does not intentionally store complete payment-card or bank-account numbers when those details are collected and maintained directly by our payment processor.

Identity, Verification, and Background Check Information: Angels may be required to complete identity verification and background screening through third-party providers such as Checkr. Information may include information necessary to initiate and administer the screening process and information concerning the status of the screening. Additional information may be provided directly to the screening provider and handled according to that provider's privacy practices.

Communications: We may collect messages and communications exchanged through the Services, including Client-to-Angel communications and communications with Consolate's Angels support or administrators.

Verification Information: We may process email addresses, telephone numbers, verification codes, and verification status to verify user accounts and contact information.

Device and Technical Information: When you access our website or application, certain technical information may be collected automatically, such as device type, operating system, browser information, IP address, application activity, diagnostic information, and similar technical data necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

Information You Choose to Provide: We may collect other information that you voluntarily provide through forms, support requests, profile fields, communications, or other features of the Services.

2. How We Use Information

  • Create, authenticate, verify, and manage user accounts;

  • Facilitate bookings and connections between Clients and Angels;

3. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the Services, including to:

Other Users: Certain information may be provided between Clients and Angels when necessary to facilitate a requested or accepted service, booking, communication, or transaction.

Service Providers: We may use third-party service providers to perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, payouts, background screening, communications, identity or account verification, application infrastructure, hosting, security, and related technology services.

These providers may include services such as Stripe, Checkr, Twilio, SendGrid, and other technology providers supporting the operation of the Services.

Legal, Safety, and Compliance Purposes: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, regulatory obligations, enforce our agreements, protect our rights or property, investigate fraud or security concerns, or protect the safety and rights of users or others.

Business Transactions: If Consolate's Angels or its operating entity is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as permitted by applicable law.

4. Payment Information

Payment processing is provided through Stripe or other designated payment processors. Payment-card information entered into Stripe's payment interface is handled according to Stripe's terms and privacy practices.

Angels who receive compensation through the platform may be required to establish a connected payment account and provide identity, tax, banking, or other financial information directly to Stripe. Consolate's Angels may receive limited information regarding the connected account, including account identifiers, verification or onboarding status, transaction information, and payout status, as necessary to administer the platform.

5. Background Checks

Angels may be required to complete background screening through Checkr or another authorized screening provider. Information submitted directly to a screening provider is also subject to that provider's privacy practices.

Consolate's Angels may receive and maintain information concerning the initiation, progress, completion, or status of a background screening as necessary to administer eligibility and safety requirements.

6. Communications and Notifications

We may use contact information to send transactional or service-related communications, including account verification messages, booking notifications, safety or security notices, support communications, payment or payout information, and other communications necessary to operate the Services.

Depending on the features enabled on your device, the mobile application may also provide push notifications. Users may manage device-level notification permissions through their device settings.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Information transmitted between supported applications and systems is protected using appropriate security measures, including encrypted connections where applicable.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and maintain appropriate business and financial records.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

Certain records may need to be retained after an account is deleted when reasonably necessary for legal, tax, financial, payment, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute-resolution, audit, or regulatory purposes.

9. Account and Data Deletion

Registered users may request deletion of their Consolate's Angels account and associated personal information.

Users may initiate an account deletion request from within the Consolate's Angels application through the available account or privacy settings.

Users may also submit an account deletion request through the account-deletion page available on our website.

When an account deletion request is processed, personal information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized except for information that we are permitted or required to retain for legitimate purposes, including legal compliance, tax and financial recordkeeping, payment or payout reconciliation, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, and regulatory obligations.

10. Children's Privacy

Consolate's Angels provides services that may involve families and individuals of different ages; however, the Services are not intended to permit children to independently create and manage user accounts unless specifically authorized and permitted by applicable law and our service requirements.

Parents, guardians, or authorized adults may arrange services involving a child where permitted by the Services. If we learn that personal information has been collected directly from a child in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address the information.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, and services. Third parties maintain their own privacy practices, and this Privacy Policy does not govern information that a user provides directly to an independent third party.

We encourage users to review the privacy policies of third-party services they use.

12. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on applicable law and your relationship with Consolate's Angels, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information.

You may update certain account information through the application or contact us regarding a privacy request.

We may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of a person submitting a privacy request before processing the request.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our Services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the top of this Privacy Policy. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or other appropriate means.
